Hello, I’m Natalie!
WildLife Live was born / hatched when I was looking for fun, local, affordable and educational events for my little 4 year old Wild Thing. I couldn’t find what I wanted, so I decided to start my own business, during a pandemic!
I am a trained VoiceOver artist, journalist, an illustrator & author of children’s books, and I’ve also been lucky enough to travel the world and work at animal sanctuaries in Borneo with orang-utans, across Africa with elephants, cheetahs, lions, wild dogs and hyenas, and in India helping stray dogs.
Back home - in less sunnier climes - I’ve spent over 10 years as a presenter, educator (and sometime keeper) at two world-renowned zoos. They always say you should never work with children or animals but I love being around both!
In my ‘spare’ time I love to draw animals, and I'm available for commissions.
Hello, I’m Nadine!
I’ve got a background in zoology and have been fortunate enough to carve out a career largely based on my favourite thing in the world - talking non-stop about animals to anyone who will listen!
Over the last 15 years or so (yikes!) I’ve worked as a keeper, presenter and education guide at zoos large and small, been out on the road running animal outreach, and I’m now super excited to be part of the WildLife Live team.
I love all animals, but I have a particular fascination with the slightly less cute and fluffy side of nature. You will often find me happily poking around under log piles for insects, or cooing over my pet giant snails!

Please let us know if there is any specific animal you would like to meet or topic you’d like to discover - we will try our best to oblige (although despite loving a challenge, sadly we’ve had to decline my son’s request for dinosaurs or tigers borrowed from the zoo!)
